THE

MUSCLECTURER

Welcome to my space on the web. This is one of the places where I am submitting work, in particular, papers (mostly about issues in education for now), as part of a developing online portfolio. The other one is here.(This link may not work, hoping to renew soon or transfer to another domain). You may also go to my career page at JobFox. Or check out my blog!

The following links are to papers that were written, some as part of my postgraduate studies, others were never completed, formatted or submitted for print publication. They are intended merely being presented as historical documents and may be used freely for research, as long as authorship is acknowledged.

Much of the information in some of these papers is woefully out-of-date and therefore if you are intending to use any of the sources, it is your responsibility to check and validate them.

Women and Technology
This paper was intended for submission at a conference for the Association for Media Practice Educators in the UK. It was developed out of a paper that I submitted to satisfy the requirements of the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Greenwich, UK).

Educational Technology
From 1997 to 1999 I undertook research for a Masters at the London College of Printing. Due to a bereavement, the work was never finished. Nonetheless, I decided to complete the write-up as best I can and place it here as a historical document.

MPhil Research Plan
A copy of the plan for my research into educational technology. You may find this useful as a template for your own research into the social sciences.

Curriculum Design
During my time at the South East Essex College I developed some courses which were validated by EdXcel in 1998. This was a good opportunity to use the experience to inform my research for a paper I submitted to satisfy the requirements
of the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Greenwich, UK).

Retention Paper
I conducted research into retention at the South East Essex College for a Staff Conference and came up with this.
